No. Every engagement starts with a fixed-price audit, a standalone piece of work with no obligation to continue beyond it.
If the audit recommends a sprint and you want to proceed, we scope and price that separately. Retainers only come into conversation once you've seen the value of at least one sprint.
An audit is a structured assessment of your current situation,we review what you have, identify the gaps and give you a prioritised action plan.
A discovery sprint is a facilitated working session that produces something forward-looking whether it bea validated roadmap, a backlog, a prototype or a strategy. Audits tell you where you are. Sprints tell you where to go and how to get there.
If something outside the agreed scope comes up mid sprint, we raise a written change request, a short note describing what's being added, the cost and any timeline impact.
You approve it before we proceed. If you don't approve it, we continue with the original scope. Nothing changes without your sign-off in writing.

Audits typically start within the same week of booking, depending on current availability. Sprint start dates are confirmed once the SOW is signed and the deposit is received. Current availability is visible on the booking page.
Every deliverable goes to a staging environment for your review before anything goes live. If something within the agreed scope hasn't been delivered correctly, we fix it at no additional cost.
The SOW is the reference document for both sides, which is why we make it thorough before we start.
